No, 4rem Locks do not require batteries or an outlet to charge.
No, there isn't a free version of 4rem. The 4rem Lock is a just a one-time purchase. If you aren't getting better sleep after 100 days, return your 4rem Lock for a full refund.
Yes, you can select individual apps or categories (like Games) to block. Essential utility apps like Contacts, Clock and Settings are always available and cannot be blocked.
